Lease Version History
Current version: v1.1.0.
Our residential lease is a versioned document. The version you signed is printed at the top of the first page of your lease, and this page lists every version we have ever used — newest first — with a plain-language summary of what changed. If your lease says a different version than the current one, nothing about your lease has changed: you are always bound by exactly the text you signed, and new versions only apply to leases signed after they're published.
v1.1.0 — August 10, 2026
Says when rent is due, which the lease never stated: monthly rent is due on the 1st, and biweekly rent every other Monday on one shared schedule, with how the first and last rent periods are worked out. Corrects several sections to match Ohio law and fair housing rules: you now get 30 days to fix a problem other than unpaid rent, 24 hours notice before we enter, and your payments always go to rent first so an unpaid fee can never make your rent late. The lease no longer claims your deposit earns no interest, and no longer treats a call to the police, or a domestic dispute, as a reason to evict. Service and assistance animals are not pets and are never charged as pets. Adds our logo and the fair housing and REALTOR marks, underlines every space to be filled in or signed, and updates the typeface.
v1.0.0 — August 4, 2026
